Your day at the Hotel Genziana begins gently with a breakfast buffet rich in vitamins, fresh fruits, yoghurt specialties, tasty Tyrolean sausages, wonderful jams from the region and South Tyrolean bread specialties will delight your heart. Aromatic coffee, a glass of fresh milk and fruity juices will provide you with the energy needed for a holiday in the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
For lunch we offer South Tyrolean and Italian specialties in our gourmet restaurant and for dinner you can choose from a five –course epicurean menu with amazing creations from the Genziana kitchen. Help yourself at the fresh salad and vegetable buffets and enjoy the cheese and dessert buffets.

South Tyrol - A wine country rich in tradition
Exquisite wine from South Tyrol, Italy and other wine areas can be found in our well-assorted wine cellar.

South Tyrol is one of the oldest wine-growing areas in the German- speaking part. Due to its special climatic conditions in the midst of the Alps it achieves very special and unique wine. The white wine mainly produced in South Tyrol is: Weißburgunder, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Sylvaner, Müller Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Veltliner and Muskateller. The red wine most grown is Vernatsch, Blauburgunder, Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet. The sommeliers Hansi and Maria Cristina Bernardi with maître Bruno Delucca give you a detailed introduction to the world of wine and organizes wine tastings in the special atmosphere of our wine cellar.

Even people who are not staying at the Hotel Genziana in Ortisei can enjoy the warm, refined atmosphere of our restaurant. Just open our à la carte menu and let yourself be inspired…choose from antipastos, starters and salad bar, and entrees with meat or fish, accompanied by the finest Italian and international wines (and, of course, from South Tyrol), all skilfully stored for you in our premium wine cellar. And to add a note of sweetness, let yourself be tempted by our luscious desserts.

Every ingredient is carefully chosen from local products to offer you the singular flavours of South Tyrol dishes. All that remains is to sample our wild raspberries with vanilla ice cream or the traditional “Kaiserschmarren” sweet. We'll be expecting you in our exclusive restaurant at the Hotel Genziana, open every day from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Located in the centre of Ortisei, the café Genziana offers the possibility to spend pleasant moments in a cosy environment. Drink a good coffee, enjoy a good aperitif or taste our homemade cakes. For lunch, you can choose from our restaurant menu or between different sandwiches, toasts, salads and much more. In short, every moment of the day is good to be at café Genziana.
